AL PIERCE

Al Pierce is a Director, Producer, and a passionate storyteller in love with the visual arts. In 2020, he founded his production company, MNDFLM, dedicating his life to filmmaking, art direction, photography, writing, and producing. He also brings his energy to the stage as both an actor and writer in theatre.

Creative, passionate, and spiritual, Al approaches his craft with deep intention. A practitioner of Shaolin Kung Fu, he believes in discipline, flow, and presence—principles that guide both his life and his art. His motto: "Don’t do it if your heart ain’t in it."

Al’s idea of happiness is grounded in peace of mind, being surrounded by family and friends, and exploring the world to connect with cultures and kind-hearted people. Film isn’t just a medium for him—it’s a way of life. When asked about his favorite movie, he often says it might just be the one he hasn't made yet.

Rooted in Buddhist philosophy, Al finds deep admiration in figures like Thich Nhat Hanh and Ajahn Chah—people who transformed the world by transforming themselves. What he values most in others is loving-kindness, compassion, and a genuine heart.
